EURO TOUR Nordhausen Results

📸 The EURO TOUR

After the major SUP races in Spain, the EURO TOUR made its next stop in Nordhausen, Germany. Over the years, Nordhausen has become something of a traditional race venue for German paddlers. However, this year saw a surprising shift—most of Germany’s SUP elite decided to sit this one out, for reasons unknown. We couldn’t identify any scheduling conflicts with other major races that might explain their absence.

With a noticeably lighter field, it was Donato Freens from the Netherlands who dominated the event, finishing over a minute ahead of fellow Dutchman Maximus Sijrier. The fastest German on the day was Bastian Grimm, who clocked in at 57:45—1 minute and 20 seconds behind Freens.
