The 2024 SUP Wing and Foil year was a mixed bag for the Stand Up Magazin. We started very hopeful back in January but realized very quick that the watersports industry is heading into a very deep recession. We had no other choice than down size from two print magazines to one.
Despite a very busy SUP Race calendar and seemingly good participation, the industry was battling declining sales paired with a stubborn over stock situation caused by Covid and people shopping like mad during the lock down.
In this video we are summoning up our 2024 year and try to see if we can predict what will happen in 2025:
