Shuri Araki from Japan has the longest journey. At the age of 18, he has already made a name for himself among the best SUP riders in the world. The young rider has shown outstanding performances in both the long distance and the sprint. In 2023, he became the youngest world champion in his division and remained unbeaten in 2024.

Arthur Arutkin from France will be competing against Araki. He has also had a significant influence on the global SUP scene and is known for his versatility. Christian Andersen, an up-and-coming athlete from Klitmøller (Denmark), will also be back. He discovered his passion for water sports at the well-known surfing hotspot “Cold Hawaii” in the north of Denmark and has since achieved impressive success. At competitions such as the Red Bull Heavy Water, one of the most demanding SUP races in the world, he proved his skills as the youngest participant.
Paolo Marconi from Italy also wants to demonstrate his skills on the XXL pool in Düsseldorf. His discipline is the long distance. In races such as “Last Paddler Standing”, he has managed to prove not only his physical but also his mental strength over 48 hours. He also works as a coach to make it easier for beginners to get into the sport.

Her successes at the Pan-American Games and other international competitions have earned her a great deal of respect. Juliette Duhaime from Argentina will also be there. She has dominated both sprint and distance races at events such as the Busan SUP Open and is one of the strongest and most versatile paddlers in international women’s SUP sport.
