EURO TOUR MARATHON INT. DES GORGES DE L’ARDECHE Results

110 very excited paddlers enjoyed a 28km race cousrs on Des Gorges de L’Ardeche in France. It was not your traditional SUP race, in fact it was a paddle race with all sorts of crafts. Just like we know it from the Chattajack in Tennessee.

On the men side, the big favorite Titouan Puyo didn’t disappoint and he led from start to finish to claim his second consecutive victory at Ardeche and also his second consecutive EUOR TOUR victory. Special mention goes to Ty Judson that was in a consistent 2nd until he hit an underwater rock and snapped the fin off his board; amazingly enough he still managed to finish the course.

On the battle for silver Paolo Marconi fought hard the french river specialist Michael Fargier who managed and impressive third to continue his podium streak. A very consistent race by french Xavier Gensse saw him finish 4th ahead of a ProCanoer & new comer on the SUP scene Theo Viens closing out the top 5.

On the women side, Susak Molinero on her first river race claimed gold after motherhood earlier this year, a big accomplishment by the spanish athlete. Last year’s winner and well known french athlete Fanny Tessier came out on a solid silver on another strong performance. A very happy Emmanuelle Marcon was consistent all race for bronze. A bit farther adrift in 4th came french Sandrine Berthe ahead of Laurence Kress in 5th.
