World SUP Festival Costa Blanca Returns for Its 5th Edition with Exciting New Format
After a one-year break, one of the most anticipated SUP events in the world is back! The World SUP Festival Costa Blanca returns for its 5th edition, set to take place in Santa Pola, Spain, on May 17-18 as the third stop of the 2025 EuroTour.
This year, the event introduces a new and exciting format, featuring two separate EuroTour 4-star races with €5,000 in prize money each. The weekend kicks off with the traditional Long Distance Race from Tabarca Island, a highlight of the festival, followed by a brand-new Technical Race course on Sunday that promises intense competition.
Additionally, for the growing foil community, the event will feature a SUP Foil Downwind course with an extra €2,000 in prize money, further expanding the festival’s appeal.
Since its inception, the World SUP Festival has been a staple on the EuroTour calendar. The team at Parres Watersports, led by Daniel Parres, has worked tirelessly to elevate the event, establishing Santa Pola as a premier SUP racing destination.
With its stunning coastal setting, top-tier competition, and an enhanced race format, the 2025 World SUP Festival Costa Blanca is shaping up to be an unforgettable weekend for both athletes and fans!
