The Starboard Foil Paddle is specifically designed for stand-up paddle (SUP) foiling, particularly for downwind conditions. Its design focuses on providing quick acceleration and powerful performance at lower speeds, which is essential for getting onto the foil efficiently.

The powerful, low-aspect blade outline is targeted at SUP foil downwinding. The low-aspect blade gives you powerful acceleration from a standing start to help you accelerate quickly onto foil. The low-aspect blade may not be efficient over longer durations or higher speeds, however, this blade gives you instant power from a standing start.
