Introducing the “Le Doigt” Foilboards Design by Steeve Fleury
Steeve Fleury is a Swiss waterman renowned for his significant contributions to various watersports, particularly in the disciplines of stand-up paddle (SUP) and foil surfing. Hailing from the shores of Lake Geneva, Steeve’s early exposure to water activities came through his parents, who were avid windsurfers. This early immersion ignited a passion that would see him excel across multiple aquatic sports.
Steeve Fleury entered stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) in 2007, becoming a multiple-time Swiss SUP Race Champion and a key figure in developing the sport in Switzerland. As watersports evolved, he embraced foiling, excelling in pump foil, SUP foil, wingfoil, and surf foil. His one-hour pump foiling downwinders on Lake Geneva highlight the potential of foiling in inland waters.
As an ambassador and team rider for Indiana Paddle & Surf Co., a Swiss brand specializing in watersports equipment, Steeve has played a pivotal role in the design and development of innovative boards tailored for foiling and SUP activities. His hands-on experience and artistic background have been invaluable in creating equipment that meets the evolving needs of the sport.
