boot Düsseldorf 2025: A brilliant start to the water sports year
This weekend, boot Düsseldorf 2025 opened its doors and once again marked the start of the water sports year. The trade fair has been one of the most important platforms for innovations and trends in the water sports industry for decades, and numerous highlights will also be presented this year. Visitors and exhibitors are particularly excited about the new surf hall, which is a real flagship of this year’s trade fair with its modern design and innovative concept.
The new surf hall
When the plans for the redesigned surf hall were first announced, the industry was initially skeptical. Would the new concept be able to meet the needs of the surfing community and other water sports enthusiasts? However, at the latest during the preview a few weeks ago, the reticence gave way to a positive surprise: the hall impressed with an open, product-oriented design that immerses visitors in a club atmosphere.
We at Stand Up Magazine were also not sure whether we would like the new metallic look, away from the warm wooden Beach World style, but we were positively surprised ourselves.
A signal for the industry
With this redesign, boot Düsseldorf shows that innovation and courage are rewarded even in challenging times. The water sports industry has had to contend with a number of uncertainties in recent years, but the positive response to the new surf hall shows that fresh ideas and quality can sustainably strengthen the interest of the community.
The initial visitor response is promising: on the opening day, numerous water sports enthusiasts are already flocking to the halls to discover the latest products and technologies. The new surf hall is not only perceived as the highlight of the trade fair, but also as a symbol of the dynamism and further development of the industry.

Large program
In addition to the new design, boot has also recognized that you can attract new and young faces to boot with large organizers like the GWA. That put on an amazing Wing Foil Contest. It was a packed weekend with lots of action on the pool, and history was even made with the new Pump Foil World Cup, which was very well received by spectators and participants alike.
