Far away from our recent discussion about a One Design Foil Racing Class, the GWA held its tour stop on the Cape Verdes. Looking at the action in the video it is becoming clear that Wing Foiling is a very diversified sport.
The athletes were absolutely ripping the perfect waves on finals day. In fact the waves were that good and the guys were surfing that well, that one might wonder if this was still a sailing or a surfing contest. It seemed like the wing had only a secondary role to play: Mostly getting the riders into the waves. The waves were that good that Maui boy Cash Berzolla spontaneously let his wing go to attempt to get barreled.
