We are talking to Steve Fleury as Swiss pioneer in water sports. He was possibly the first in his country to master a flat water start on a SUP-Foil. Now he came to the boot show back in January to demonstrate his skills and the possibilities to a broader audience.
What Steve does was unthinkable a few years back and only a few people in Hawaii were able to get an SUP started with a foil attached. People needed strong winds and waves, and even then it was hard to learn. A few years later this new sport has made its way to land locked regions.
We believe this is only the start and the number of SUP Foil enthusiasts will only grow more as technology and accessibility will progress.
