The ICE race in Thun Switzerland is poised to become one of the biggest races in Europe this year. The ICE race is a A to B distance race in one of Switzerland’s most scenic regions. Starting in Interlaken and finishing in the town of Thun. The SUP / Kayak and OC portion of the long-distance is 18km and rowing around the lake is 37km.
The ICE race dates back many years, the earliest results I could find on our website ae from 2015. (For some reason could not find 2016). Ever since the ICE race has been growing in popularity and size. Last year the race was part of the EURO TOUR and this year it is the second race after the Carolina Cup of the ICF Worldcup marking the start of the season in Europe.
