We are back in the Parawing world and still trying to find the right day to learn this thing. Finding the right wind speed seems quite tricky. It is either too windy (25kts for a 3m ENSIS Roger) or not windy enough, like 12kts. Either way, we made some progress but just can’t seem to fly the ROGER stably. Is it a beginner problem or does this Parawing have some sort of design flaw? It’s really hard to tell.
We took our friend and experienced kiter to the beach and had him try the ROGER, while we tried his BRM 3.6m Parawing. The result was not 100% conclusive. Our friend John was able to fly the ROGER just fine, but there were some stability issues for sure. I, on the other hand, was battling the crazy windy conditions but managed to sail eventually.
