Knee starting Semi-Sinker Wingfoil boards can be tricky. By Semi-Sinker we mean boards with a roughly 20 Liter negative buoyancy. These boards are the natural progression for every ambitious Wingfoiler who likes to get to the next level. Smaller boards are much more maneuverable, are easier to transport and travel with and are generally must more fun to ride.
How ever these smaller boards board come at at price: They are harder to get out of the water. This is why we made this video to break a few things down to help riders who are in the transition process to go from larger to a smaller board.
