The EURO TOUR in Nordhausen was also a local race called the SĂĽdharzer SUP Cup. The conditions were nice and sunny with not much wind. Racers from all over found their way to Nordhausen, we counted 24 men athletes and 10 female athletes participating in the 12K longdistance race. The entire field of racers finished the course within 44 minutes to 1 hour which means they all had a very good pace making between 12 – 16km/h.
Men Longdistance
There was a group of 4 that all finished within one second from each other. Donato lead the pack across the finish line closely followed by Blue Ewer, Fernando Perez and Ole Schwarz. After that the gap grew to a few board length to Asger Smidt the junior from Denmark.
Notable also the two U16 juniors with the German hopeful Benyam Bossak and the Italian Riccardo Postiglione who both finished in the top ten.
