Welcome to our weekly update from Lahaina: We started last weekend with an amazing premiere of the documentary about Bullys Surfschool. It was an emotional film show casing “Bully” and his dedication to help homeless kids through surfing. Like many others he also lost his home but it did not stop him to continue taking kids out surfing.
Most of the week was absorbed with stripping the staircase at the JUCKER HAWAII / Stand Up Magazin shop and working some hotel shifts. This is where most of the focus is this week, as tourists come back to West Maui not all hotel workers are ready to deal with guests complaints and in some cases insensitive behavior.
