Ever since the tragic fires of Lahaina, Zane Schweitzer has pored his heart and soul into community efforts to help out with disaster relief. On top of that, him and his brother have been stepping it up with the Zane Super Grom movement and the Kahakukahi Foundation.
This last weekend was extra special as Zane had a personal visit from Maui mayor Richard Bissen as well as several big names in the Big Wave Community. It was an honor to be there and covering the event, getting statements from the mayor himself but also people like Ian Walsh, Paige Alms, Josh Bogle and Andrea Moller.
We all wish Zane much of success as he is becoming a keyfigure in the Maui community, in and outside the water.
