The ISA is not particularly transparent when it comes to their plans with their SUP Event. In fact it is almost May and we have not heard anything about a possible date and location for the ISA SUP World Championships.
According to rumors read on SUPracer (Yes Chris Parker is posting again) The ISA might hold an event in December in Taiwan. Of course nothing has been confirmed, but we all know Chris Parker has eyes and ears everywhere so there must be something to it.
Should this to be the case then we be falling into a pattern that we have been observing in the last years: The SUP race season is getting later and later. We have the ICF with their event in November in Thailand and the APP schedule is very busy at the end of the year. Not forget the Paris Nautic Crossing in the first week of December.
We are waiting with great anticipation for the ISA announcement. Who knows maybe we get board transport from Thailand to Taiwan.
