Everybody saw the video of Connor and Kai battling it out at Kahului Harbor on Maui 2 weeks ago. (Watch it here) The video had quite an effect on our community. We all remember how Kai and Connor were the fiercest competitors. The timing of the video was also quite interesting because Connor was just getting ready to join the APP tour in Santa Monica and some people were wondering if it really could be that Kai might be on a secret mission to make a SUP comeback.
Well… I could not sit still and had to reach out and met Kai the other day to go down memory lane and draw up a hypothetical scenario that might bring him back to competitive SUP.
What would it take for Kai Lenny to come back to SUP?
