SUP Alps Trophy Lake Faak Results

What great weekend it was for the season opener of the SUP Alps Trophy. Nothing but sunshine and smiles and… absolute great turn out. 59 men entered the longdistance race and 12 ladies. Plus another 31 junior boys and 14 junior girls.

The race amongst the men of course was highly anticipated with the competition between Normen Weber and Peter Weidert, currently the two strongest paddlers of Germany. No to count out Austria’s number one paddler Christian Taucher. Looking at the finishing times, it became pretty clear that Normen will be the man to beat also in 2022. He was 8.1 seconds faster than Peter and another solid 17 seconds faster than Christian Taucher. We are looking forward to an interesting SUP Alps Trophy season with these 3 guys.

In the ladies category things were much more clear. Susanne Eder-Meyer, how was also a stand out at the ICF Worlds in Balaton was two and a half mintues faster than the 3 year younger Marion See Bauer and almost 4 minutes faster than Andrea Kämmerer.

Also congratulations to all the juniors that showed up.
