It was quite coincidental that on the same day I was at Turtle Bay on Oahu (for private reasons) Tristan Boxford from the APP was there as well. To the day 10 years ago I was also at Turtle Bay and met Tristan then for the first time. It was 2012 and the Watermen League just got off the ground with SUP Surfing events and their first exhibit SUP Race right at the resort.
What a great reason that was, to catch up with Tristan and going down memory lane. In this first part we are hearing how the Watermen League (now APP) was founded:
