SUP Alps Trophy Lake Constance Results

he South German Championship was simultaneously the 3. th SUP ALP TROPHY event. The weather was a colorful mix and just in time for the start of the Race Classe / Longdistance the wind refreshed and the race was challenging with 3 strikes of side wave on a diamond course. Despite the forecast, many starters came and except for a few, most of them finished the course.

At the start was the top favorite normen Weber, which still came directly from the EUROTOUR race in Prague to the Bodensee. Among the starters were the German champion sprint Peter Weidert, german Finals vice Hermann Husslein and many top placed paddlers from the first tour stops and there were many groups with exciting fights for the seats – not only power but also stability was required and the choice of materials could be made here Rash so some surprises appear in the placement. Rookie of the Race became one of the Masters, Peter Mühlhauser, who reached the podium with a lot of power and clever choice of board and came to the finish line as the third placed behind Peter and standards – we like it well done! Normen won sovereign and Peter is also a league in his own right. Andrea Kämmerer was the first to reach the goal in front of Susanne Eder-Meyer and Mendy Lehmann.
In the funclass, the field of participants was a little weaker due to the weather, but this competition took place in a mirror-smooth ′′ picture perfect ′′ conditions before the wind.

A big shout out to Christoph Straub and the whole canoe club Radolfzell for the great event, Klotzi the best SUP photographer in the world and all waterproof participants in our opinion.
