One month to go and we will see the SUP event of the year. After the CAS decision, it became quite quiet about ISA vs ICF. The ISA is busy with Tokyo anyway and probably enjoys the deserved success after long hard work to finally bring surfing to the Olympics. The people at ICF are not sitting around idly either, as we saw in our interview. So they are preparing with a lot of power and work for the upcoming SUP World Championships at Lake Balaton.
Now it’s time to sign up and if you’re not sure yet, you can also take a look at who’s already there. That’s exactly what we did and picked a few names that we see again and again on the podiums of different races where we think they have a chance to win a medal.
But there are also a lot of new names from Eastern Europe in the sport and it may well be that we have one or two Drakhorse whose name we have never heard before.
However, not all of the big names are registered yet and we hope that some of them will join us.
