As the saying goes, sometimes “when it rains it pours” Belgium was one of the regions that was very affected by Covid, just when things were getting better, all the permissions were set and we were all ready for the event in Namur, literally unprecedented floods happened. After tirelessly working with authorities, organizers & local government for the past week behind the scenes, we unfortunately have to postpone the event in Namur. Namur SUP Race
Namur SUP Race (4500E) 21st August
If you’ve been following the news, the tragedy in claimed many lives, and out of respect for the victims the city of Namur have cancelled all non-essential activities. Ultimately, the decrease on the river flow is nowhere near normal levels. Also, the risk of debris still making their way downstream and the high current around the bridges have left the event too unsafe to run, so we had to postpone. As always email us at email@example.com with any questions. We are very much looking forward to the 2nd half of the tour with 8 venues that promise even more action than the 6 events that we’ve run so far this season. We are very appreciative of all the athletes, organizers and supporters that continue to make #eurotour2021 the biggest thing in the sport; specially in these crazy times. See you all very soon in Belgium.
