This question is not so easy to answer. If you are familiar with surfboards of all kinds, you have probably already repaired your own. However, if you have a piece of sports equipment that is made of fabric, repairing it is a little more complicated.
At the very least, you must be able to sew well and have some of the right tools. We were visiting someone who has been mending sails for 25 years. Her name is Annette, she has lived on Maui for almost 30 years and is from Germany. Like so many, Annette came to Maui from Germany through windsurfing.
