SUP 11 City Tour Non-Stop 2025

Epic Endurance in Friesland

The canals of Friesland once again became the stage for one of the toughest stand-up paddle races on earth: the legendary SUP 11 City Tour Non-Stop edition. Over the weekend, solo paddlers, tandems, and teams took on the full 220-kilometer route in one continuous push, testing not only their bodies but also their mental endurance.

Unlike the traditional five-day SUP 11 City Tour, the Non-Stop edition demands that athletes cover all eleven historic Frisian cities in a single effort. With only a handful of official resting points along the course, competitors rely heavily on their ground crews for nutrition and morale. The event has become a proving ground for ultra-endurance athletes who want to test themselves against time, fatigue, and the endless waterways of the Dutch countryside.

Men’s Solo Battle

The Solo Men’s division delivered drama and determination.

  • Marco Teodosio claimed victory with a finishing time of 29 hours flat, a remarkable show of consistency and grit.
  • Gunter De Bin followed with 30 hours, 10 minutes, grinding through the night hours to secure second place.
  • Marek Splíchal, who crossed in 29 hours, 32 minutes, earned the final podium spot after a hard-fought race.

Every solo paddler who completed the course achieved something extraordinary, but this trio stood out as the leaders of the pack.

Tandem Power

In the Tandem category, Loch SUP Tandem SUP impressed everyone with not only a win, but also the fastest overall time of the weekend. Their 27 hours, 36 minutes performance showcased the strength of teamwork and perfect pacing.

Team Triumphs

The team division brought its own excitement, with three squads finishing within little more than 15 minutes of each other after nearly 30 hours of paddling:

  • Team Waterlady’s secured first place in 29:45:34,
  • Team Supskool Leeuwarden followed close behind, and
  • Team Sup 11 City Ohana rounded out the podium with a finishing time just under 30 hours.

The collective spirit of these groups embodied the camaraderie that makes the SUP 11 City Tour such a unique event.

Crossing the finish line in Leeuwarden is not just about victory—it is about perseverance, community, and a shared love of stand-up paddling.
