Adria SUP Challenge Results

The Adria SUP Challenge 2025 set a strong example for the European SUP scene in Koper/Capodistria. Two days full of top sporting performance, team spirit and Mediterranean flair made the event a highlight on the international SUP calendar.

From a “crazy idea” to an established top event

It all began a few years ago with a bold vision: a “crazy idea” gave rise to a SUP race that has gradually developed into a permanent fixture on the European racing scene. Today, the Adria SUP Challenge is one of the best-known events in Europe and is also becoming increasingly popular internationally.

Thanks to continuous development, fresh ideas and perfect organization, the ASC team succeeds in taking the event to a new level year after year. The mixture of sporting competition, family atmosphere and fantastic conditions by the sea is what makes this event so special.

Community and sport at the highest level

In addition to exciting competitions, the Adria SUP Challenge once again offered an environment in which paddlers could feel like they were part of a big SUP family. New friendships were made and old contacts were deepened – it is precisely this spirit that makes the ASC so unique. The sun, wind and sea provided the perfect conditions for the athletes to perform at their best.

The organizers would like to thank all team members, helpers, judges and sponsors whose commitment made the event possible in the first place. Special thanks also went to Gerd Weisner, who integrated the event into the SUP Alps Trophy series and thus further expanded its international status.

No event without athletes

As successful as the organization is: The focus is on the athletes, whose passion for the sport is what makes the Adria SUP Challenge come alive. Without them and their commitment, this event would not exist.

Conclusion: A firm anchor in the European SUP calendar

The Adria SUP Challenge 2025 has shown how an event with passion, team spirit and sporting professionalism can inspire the SUP community. With its mix of competition, community and Mediterranean lifestyle, the ASC has long been more than just a race – it is a fixture in international SUP sport.
