SUMMARY:Budapest Pool SUP Festival Round 1
DESCRIPTION:Dates:Round 1 – 7th of January 2024Round 2 – 4th of February 2024 \n\n\n\nWe extend a warm welcome to both novice and seasoned participants\, regardless of age or gender. The competition will feature seven distinct categories. Participants who secure a place among the top three in both competitions will not only receive medals but also prizes in the form of both tangible items and money rewards\, all in honor of Thomas Breitling. \n\n\n\nThe entire 50-meter pool at DUNA ARENA will be exclusively reserved for our competition. The event promises a vibrant atmosphere with music\, video creation\, photography\, and media involvement. Here’s the official announcement: \n\n\n\nIMPORTANT NOTICE: Every participant will race using the Thomas Breitling Go Green 11.7 board provided by the organizers. Participants with their own SUP paddles are welcome to bring them. For those without a paddle\, the organizers will supply one for the race. \n\n\n\nThe races will be scored using a point system across all seven categories. Join us for a thrilling competition and a chance to showcase your skills in an array of exciting events! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAge groups: U14 (mix of all the boys and girls of 10-14 years)U19 (girls of 14-19 years)U19 (boys of 14-19 years)OPEN women (regardless of age\, women above 16 years)OPEN men (regardless of age\, men above 16 years)40+ women (women above 40 years)40+ men (men above 40 years) Race tracks:  100-200m sprint200-300m slalom with buoy turn \n\n\n\nPointing systemIn every category:1st place (10 points)2nd place (8 points)3rd place (6 points)4th place (4 points)5th place (2 points) \n\n\n\nThe awarding of the competition   Those competitors who take part in both competitions\, according to the places they gain points. These points will be summarized on the second event\, and based on those points those who gained the most will be awarded with money. \n\n\n\nEvery competitor will be given a medal.
