DESCRIPTION:Tech Race ( Hardboards & Inflatables )\n\n\n\nThis race is new to the 2025 Race Format and it’s the most demanded race by paddlers that have joined the event in the past editions. Definitely the most FUN category\, not just for the paddlers them self’s but for spectators as well. Paddlers showing off their skills in this challenge to prove who is the best technical paddler. This category is for paddlers joining the race with Hardboards & Inflatables. Paddlers will have to navigate between the race buoys before returning to their starting position. We are very excited to introduce this race since it highlights the technical aspect of the sport. \n\n\n\nIMPORTANT INFORMATION: START for the TECH Race and LONG-DISTANCE RACE are NOT on the same location. \n\n\n\nLong-Distance Race ( Hardboards & Inflatables )\n\n\n\nThis 23km RACE for paddlers using both Hardboards & Inflatables is a long and demanding challenge\, definitely a great place to test yourself and push your limits. All racers will have a standing water start which is marked by the 2 Mistral buoys. The riders have 2 checkpoints where they will need to pass by before making a strong finish at the city of Ohrid. The top 3 riders from last year’s edition all finished within 1 min of each other. Amazing tempo from all the riders in great water conditions on this flat-water like 23km race. The cut off time is 5h for all participants in the 23km race. Luka Kozar holds the record crossing this course in under 2:30h. \n\n\n\nIMPORTANT INFORMATION: START for the LONG-DISTANCE RACE and TECH RACE are NOT on the same location. \n\n\n\nSUP Adventure ( Recreational Paddlers )\n\n\n\nThe 26km ADVENTURE is meant for recreational paddlers and it’s our most popular format. It’s a guided group tour from our club members from Paddle Klub and the whole ‘Crossing’ lasts from 6 to 8 hours depending on the number of people registered and the weather conditions that day. This category is limited to 100 paddlers. The 2024 edition featured paddlers from 14 different countries. Since this is a guided group crossing\, It is mandatory to paddle alongside the coastline of Lake Ohrid\, not more than 50m away from the beach. This means that shortcuts and deviation from the route set by the Organizer are not allowed. All registered participants must follow our team’s instructions and must not separate from the group of paddlers. In collaboration with the Red Cross\, the Organizer is providing trained rescue and first aid personnel who will be shadowing the participants throughout the event by boat. The cut of time is 8h. \n\n\n\nIMPORTANT INFORMATION: START and FINISH are NOT at the same location. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration

There will be a call by 8am each day and there will be 4 days of competition within the holding period. \n\n\n\nTwo possible venues for the event: \n\n\n\nLas CanterasIn front of the main event site: a beach break with both lefts and rights: more mellow surf and this will be the venue for the Trials and opening rounds of the Main Event\, the Juniors and the SUP longboard division. We might reserve the option to hold the final of the Pro Juniors at the alternate venue of El Lloret. \n\n\n\nEl LloretJust round the point from the main event site: a high performance\, right hand point break providing the best possible conditions for the World’s best. This venue is reserved for the later rounds of the Pro event providing the conditions allow it. The last two years (2018/2019) saw epic conditions for the final two days of competition for both years.

DESCRIPTION:All good things must come to an end! \n\n\n\nJoin Lazy Dog as we celebrate our 10th and FINAL year ( 2014-2024) as host of the Key West Paddle Classic!  The event has a long history\, originating in 1997 under the direction of Micheal O’Shaunessy\, and is celebrating its 27th year in 2024!    \n\n\n\nCourse:  \n\n\n\nStarting point is at Higgs Beach\, Paddle South toward the Southernmost Point\, through the Key West harbor\, around the USCG base and under the Fleming Key Bridge. From here we cross the sailboat mooring field and paddle around Dredger’s Key (Sigsbee) into Cow Key Channel which connects Key West and Stock Island.  Exit Cow Key Channel back out at the front side and continue past Smather’s Beach and White St. Pier to return to Higgs Beach for the finish.

DESCRIPTION:Dates:Round 1 – 7th of January 2024Round 2 – 4th of February 2024 \n\n\n\nWe extend a warm welcome to both novice and seasoned participants\, regardless of age or gender. The competition will feature seven distinct categories. Participants who secure a place among the top three in both competitions will not only receive medals but also prizes in the form of both tangible items and money rewards\, all in honor of Thomas Breitling. \n\n\n\nThe entire 50-meter pool at DUNA ARENA will be exclusively reserved for our competition. The event promises a vibrant atmosphere with music\, video creation\, photography\, and media involvement. Here’s the official announcement: \n\n\n\nIMPORTANT NOTICE: Every participant will race using the Thomas Breitling Go Green 11.7 board provided by the organizers. Participants with their own SUP paddles are welcome to bring them. For those without a paddle\, the organizers will supply one for the race. \n\n\n\nThe races will be scored using a point system across all seven categories. Join us for a thrilling competition and a chance to showcase your skills in an array of exciting events! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAge groups: U14 (mix of all the boys and girls of 10-14 years)U19 (girls of 14-19 years)U19 (boys of 14-19 years)OPEN women (regardless of age\, women above 16 years)OPEN men (regardless of age\, men above 16 years)40+ women (women above 40 years)40+ men (men above 40 years) Race tracks:  100-200m sprint200-300m slalom with buoy turn \n\n\n\nPointing systemIn every category:1st place (10 points)2nd place (8 points)3rd place (6 points)4th place (4 points)5th place (2 points) \n\n\n\nThe awarding of the competition   Those competitors who take part in both competitions\, according to the places they gain points. These points will be summarized on the second event\, and based on those points those who gained the most will be awarded with money. \n\n\n\nEvery competitor will be given a medal.
