Connor Baxter wins the Maui to Molokai SUP Race (World CUP of SUP) in the Pailolo Channel from Honolua Bay (Maui) to Kaunakakai (Molokai). The first stretch of the channel was kind of sloppy but the closer we came to Molokai the better the conditions became. Winds were in the 20kt range. We were not able to follow the entire race. After a delayed start the Honolua Bay we were able to catch up with some of the racers but not the leaders. This was channel racing and sailing at its best.
