Das Sterben der grossen Rennen geht weiter, nach dem Battle of the Paddel und dem SUP World Cup verlieren wir mit der Oleron Island Stand Up Paddle Challenge ein weiteres grosses Rennen im internationalen SUP Zirkus. Offenbar fehlte es auch hier den Organisatoren an Geld und Ressourcen um das Rennen durchzuführen.

Dear competitors,
We are deep in thought for a few days to maintain Oleron Island Stand Up Paddle Challenge 2015 on the calendar.
Despite the small number of competitors registered to date and a particularly unfavorable budget situation we have tried everything these last weeks to organize the event. However the commitments we must take today, especially regarding the human and logistical resources to provide, but also to maintain the promotion and hospitality that our local authorities wish to maintain, require the organization committee to postpone the event to the next year.
It is with a lot of regret that we announce officially here that the 2015’ Oleron Island Stand Up Paddle Challenge is shifted to June 2016.
Sometimes you must to be wise. We will come back stronger next year with a new project.
